Authors Notes: callmedirk asked for fic about how Christina lost her virginity. I purposely left this at a weird opening on the off chance that someone asks for Danny's story in this AU...that could be quite fun to write.

"You've got to tell me the story one of these days."

"Did you sleep with me tonight just so I'd tell you how I lost my virginity?" Christna sat up in bed and looked at Danny, who was lying next to her on his side.

"No, but this is continuing the conversation we had earlier." He grinned at her. "And I want to know."

"Do not think that that grin and good sex is going to get me to talk," she said, gowering at him slightly. "I don't want to talk about it."

"You push and you're sleeping alone tonight."

Danny nodded slowly. "I'll back off tonight, but one of these days..."

"But not tonight," she said. Then she pushed him back onto the bed. "Tonight I have other ideas..."

"Seriously, she won't tell me," Danny said to Flack the next afternoon. "I mean, I told her last night. Why won't she tell me?"

Flack shrugged slightly. "Don't ask me to get it out of Susan. I happen to like having an open line of communication with my girlfriend."

Danny glared at him slightly. "It can't be that bad."

"How do you know?"

"I don't. That's the problem." Danny slumped into his seat. "I don't like not knowing something like this about her. Usually she's pretty open."

"Give her time," Flack said. "Eventually you'll get it out of her."

"But I want to know before I get old."

"Curiosity killed the cat," Flack tossed over his shoulder as he walked out of Danny's office.

Danny waited a minute before he pulled out his phone. Flack was not going to get the last word in this conversation. He dialed his friends number and waited.

"You just have to get the last word in, don't you?"

"Yes. I'm dating her. I'm supposed to know these things. She is my girlfriend, damnit."

Flac sighed. "Let me see if I can at least find out why she might not want to tell you. If I do that, will you not drive me nuts until you know?"

"I promise."

"Good. And if my girlfriend ends up not speaking to me over this, I'll camp out on your couch until I get to get back in her good graces."

"She won't get that pissed, will she?"

"You really don't know her all that well, do you? She holds a strict code when it comes to Chris. If Chris won't tell you, she won't, either."

"Fine, fine," Danny said.

"I'm hanging up now," Flack said. "Wait patiently. I know you can do it, Messer."

"Oh, shut up," Danny said, ending the call. He couldn't believe that not knowing had put him in such a foul mood. It wasn't like it was the end of the world, his not knowing. But it rubbed him the wrong way, especially since he'd opened up to her the night before.

So why didn't she want to tell him?

"She isn't going to tell you just because you told her."

Danny blinked. "Does Flack tell you everything, Susan?"

"Only when I press him on the subject." There was a sound of rustling papers on the other end. "Look, it wasn't bad. She wasn't forced to have sex or anything. She's just not exactly proud of how it went down. So cut her some slack, okay?"

"So it was bad?"

"Bad, no. Embarassing? Yes." He could hear a keyboard being tapped. "And I'm not giving you any more details other than that."

"One of these days I'll get her to tell me."

"Yeah, you probably will. I get the feeling you just won't give up until you get the info. It's got to be the scientist in you."

"Probably." He looked around. "Have to get back to work now."

"Just remember: back off."

"Got it." He hung up and glanced over towards her office area. One of these days he'd get her to talk. Until she chose to, though, he wouldn't bring it up.

It took three days. Three days of weird glances and almost conversations before she brought it up.

"You don't want to know anymore?"

"Know what?"

"How I lost my virginity."

He shrugged slightly. "I want to know, but I'm not going to badger you."

She looked at him. "Did Susan tell you?" she asked, narrowing her eyes slightly.

"All she said was that it was embarassing."

Christina relaxed. "I might as well tell you. You'll get a kick out of it."

"It can't be that bad."

She raised an eyebrow. "Remember that when I was twenty-one I was already working for the SDPD," she began. "One night Susan convinced me to go to this house party. It was already wild when we got there, and I wasn't sure if I wanted to stay. But Susan introduced me to this cute guy friend of hers, so I had a few drinks and hung out with him."

"And then one thing lead to another," he supplied.

"Pretty much. So we head upstairs to see if there's an open room and there was. We get down on the bed and...we have sex. It wasn't bad, but he knew ahead of time that it was my first time so he was prepared for that."

"So what made it embarassing?"

"Just as he finished the door swung open and it was the cops. They were there breaking up the party and were checking all the rooms. They started barking orders and then I had to tell them I was a CSI and they just started laughing at me." She slumped. "Thankfully they were both pretty quiet about it when I worked scenes they were at with me. I actually ended up becoming friends with one of them, but..."

"But they walked in on you having sex," he said, his mouth quirking up slightly.

"See! I knew you'd find it funny," she mumbled.

"Hey, hey, it's okay," he said, pulling her closer to him. "When you wouldn't tell me I was worried it was something bad."

"No. Just mortifying."

"You didn't get in any trouble?"

"I was twenty-one but he was twenty. He hadn't had anything to drink, though, and the cops trusted my word on it. They just let us go. Susan almost got thrown into the drunk tank, though, but I promised I'd drive her home."

"She was that drunk?"

"Yeah," she said. "I'm surprised she didn't do anything really stupid that evening, actually." She caught the look on his face. "And don't bother asking her about anything that happened that night. She doesn't remember. I think that was the one and only time she's drank so much she blacked out."

"Would have been interesting to know," he said.

"So, now that you know, are you satisfied?"

"Not entirely."

"I told you everything except the details of the actual act."

"I know. But I have you here on this couch and there's a few things we could be doing that don't involve rehashing the past."

She turned and grinned at him. "You do have a point there."

"I know."

She got a little more comfortable. "Why don't you show me what you're talking about here?"

"Sure," he said with a grin before he kissed her. He'd gotten his answers, and for that, he was happy.
